Historical Background and Our Core Values

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Kiminini Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) is a public institution in Trans-Nzoia County, Kiminini Sub-county, Sikhendu Ward, Konoin Village. One of 70 TVCs constructed by GoK in Phase II to meet rising demand for Technical, Vocational & Entrepreneurial training locally and globally.

5-acre campus: Land donated by Konoin Primary (4 acres) & Konoin Secondary (1 acre). Part of GoK initiative for constituency-level technical institutes by 2022.

2015-2018: Construction by Zamalek Construction Co. Ltd at Ksh. 60M. Completed Sept 2018, handed over to Matili Technical Training Institute (mentor) Jan 2019.

March 2019: Clothing & Textile equipment from China (Avic International). Sept 2019: Furniture supply (Annkite Technologies).

2015: Construction begins Sept 2018: Completed Jan 2019: Handover Mar 2019: Equipment Sept 2019: Furniture 9th Sept 2019: Training begins

Opened for training: 9th September, 2019 in response to surging trainee demand.
